A small creative DIY project to save the walls temporarily near the wash basin from regular water contacts

Creative do-it-yourself projects are not just exciting but can also bless people with a lively and happy environment at home during the ‘stay@home’ period. I was worried about the wall that holds the wash basin of my utility because of its regular contact with the water, however, I was more worried about letting craftsmen inside the house to renovate the space during this pandemic. I thought of fixing it temporarily with waterproofing sheets, until we all get back to normal with a permanent fix.

Steps for twenty minutes of creativity:

1: Measure the area that you want to cover. Ideally it would be the area that gets most affected with the water splashes.

2: Cut the sheet as per your measurements and paste it in the wall. If you don’t get a perfect straight cut, its fine. We are not professionals; however, we know the tricks to mask the uneven cuts.

3: Cut the left-over paper unevenly, preferably into small shapes and paste it in a way that it looks like an art. It will cover the uneven cut and would also ensure that the sheet pasted doesn’t look like a patch but an artistic piece.

Additionally, I converted my exposed copper pipe to look like a branch of the tree with some artificial leaves but if you are good at real climbers, it will enhance the space even more.

Green is refreshing but if you want to try it with a combination of colors; am sure that would win hearts too!

Am going to enhance it further, however the first look of the wall is just the one that will keep me going.

First look of the wall with the option to scribble!

Who says temporary is not attractive? Easy fixes and well-organized spaces go a long way in maintaining a house because when its created by you, it is filled with love, wonderful thoughts and the beautiful you!
