Is your fear/s holding you back? Look for the strength within…

You must get into the water to learn swimming!

Few years back, there were factors, fears and people who encouraged me to stay content with my five figured job. After all, two earning members in a family would sound like a pot full of riches for the parents who have survived with less and have proudly raised their kids with strong education and character.

It took me a while to put my right feet on to the land less travelled. Born and raised in a place where education is good for girls, and a decent job is great; I also had my fears and hesitations before stepping into the world full of uncertainties.

Am not sure if I made a mistake holding on to my day job since then and focusing on excelling/shinning among the colleagues at the work place or giving less priority to my entrepreneurship dream. But, greatly said, nothing goes in vain. Today I possess limited, yet diversified experience and knowledge. It is wonderful to know about things and domains.

Four years back, I left my job and earnings to raise my little pumpkin who took over all my other priorities. I was taking care of him and was also giving myself an opportunity to think and understand the thing that defines me. Priorities change with each passing year; however, I consider myself lucky to be able to take a decision based on my circumstances and my experiences.

It is great to start your dream early, but it’s wonderful to wake up at any point of your life, create a change and live!

It is never too late.

When I came to the city of opportunities, I was scared and unsure about getting a job, but I got it in no time. The real worthy one, came a little later, but I survived, and I did well. There was a time when I was leading my workplace and was appreciated by all. I was engrossed in my life and the liberties I possessed, and then I feared being a mom and the onus associated therein. Am glad that I managed the situation well. Raising a baby alone is no fun but with my best half, it worked.

There might have been instances where I would have failed in my life, that I would like to change, however, I do not remember them often.

Looking at the brighter side of life can help conquer the world!

Today at this early hour of the day, I question myself, and I feel that am still scared of the entrepreneurship dream. Should I enter the world of uncertainties? Will I succeed?

And the answer I get is:

You just have one life; why not give it your best shot? March ahead, put your best step forward..

Follow your heart and have no fear!
